About the role
The Software Engineer 1 - Full Stack develops, enhances, integrates, and supports applications, data solutions, and technical services used by students, faculty, and staff across the Lewis Katz School of Medicine. The position independently owns assigned work from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, documentation, maintenance, and production support. The Software Engineer works closely with the Director of Information Technology, colleagues, and school stakeholders to translate business and academic needs into secure, reliable, accessible, and sustainable technical solutions. The role supports a mixed technology environment that includes legacy and modern web applications, SQL Server databases, vendor platforms, APIs, data integrations, ETL processes, reporting, automation, and application modernization.
