About the Opportunity:The SOFTWARE ENGINEER, PRIVACY ENGINEERING is responsible for developing internal products and infrastructure that protect customer privacy across the organization's engineering ecosystem. This role collaborates with various teams, including product engineering, privacy counsel, security, and platform engineering, to enable responsible data use that aligns with consumer privacy rights. The position supports the design and implementation of privacy solutions that facilitate data use while minimizing risks to individuals. Responsibilities:Design and develop services or infrastructure supporting data privacy initiatives and consumer privacy rightsDefine the technological future of privacy within the organizationCollaborate with engineering teams to integrate privacy engineering products into their solutionsProvide mentorship and conduct reviews for engineering teams working with privacy technologiesMonitor and maintain the stability of existing privacy engineering solutions Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experienceProven ability to write quality, scalable, robust, and testable codeWillingness to learn new technologies or languagesExperience working across services, infrastructure, or frameworks to achieve security and privacy objectives Pay Range and Compensation Package:Zone A: $180,000 to $270,000 USDZone B: $171,000 to $256,600 USDZone C: $162,000 to $243,000 USDZone D: $153,000 to $229,600 USD Benefits & Perks:Medical insurance Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
