Software Engineer (Node.js / Next.js)

Responsibilities

• Support ITSM, ITIL, ALM, and software development frameworks.
• Guide teams through development processes and operational standards.
• Measure team performance and process effectiveness.
• Promote continuous process improvement and delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively across the organization.
• Support strategic technology initiatives.
• Drive alignment between engineering and business objectives.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration on development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development or a related field.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience as an IT Manager.
• Experience managing front-end technology development.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps and operational frameworks.
• Experience with Agile, ITSM, ITIL, ALM, and software development practices.
• Proven experience working within Agile and/or SAFe frameworks.
• Strong ReactJS development experience.
• Five to eight or more years of front-end development experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Agile SDLC.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Next.js.
• Experience with AngularJS.
• Three or more years of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry experience.
