About the role

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 with a security clearance to join their team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of secure software systems.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Participate in code refactoring and optimization efforts to improve system performance and maintainability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
