Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create effective engineering solutions
- Pursue engineering excellence through best practices and continuous improvement
- Tackle ambiguous problems with innovative solutions
- Improve, maintain, and sunset critical backend services at scale
- Increase CI build efficiency and strengthen automated safeguards
Qualifications
- Experienced with Java or other JVM languages
- Built and debugged components of distributed systems
- Able to simplify complex problems and communicate progress effectively
- Comfortable maintaining and scaling third-party services
- Willing to participate in an on-call rotation
