Software Engineer IV (ASP.Net, C#, SQL, API)

Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension based on business needs

About the Role

The Software Engineer IV oversees the development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This role ensures system applications run smoothly, monitors performance, and creates reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions. The position is part of the Technology department and plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.
• Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques for improved operations.
• Install and configure systems and other software.
• Test installed software for malfunction detection.
• Identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Design and deploy new applications and enhance existing application software and operating systems.
• Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.
• Monitor and test system performance.
• Oversee the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency.
• Maintain full ownership of a process, typically acting as a procedural expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of experience in a related role.

• Proficiency in conducting system analysis to detect performance issues.
• Capability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.

• Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware computing systems, and their integration.

$60 - $75/hr (W2)
