About the role

The Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH) serves as the public, environmental, and occupational health laboratory for the State of Wisconsin. WSLH is a public sector entity, under the umbrella of the University of Wisconsin. This position works under the general direction of the Director of Dev/Ops. The Software Engineer/Developer IV is an experienced senior developer responsible for the analysis, design, development and support of in-house applications, websites, interfaces, reporting systems, and the various LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) that support the laboratories and divisions affiliated with WSLH. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as in teams consisting of staff from multiple areas (business, technical, and vendors).
