Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

About the role

Software Engineer Internship (Summer 2027) Workshop is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to help support and enhance the Workshop Software team for Summer 2027. This is a hybrid role based in our Omaha, Nebraska office.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineers and designers to build product features into the app.
• Have meaningful work that makes an impact on customers and the business.
• Have the autonomy and support to ship code to production regularly and frequently.
• Be mentored to grow your depth of knowledge of software engineering practices including the latest AI-assisted development practices.
• Have access to the latest AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of programming foundations and interest in learning more about modern software development methodologies.
• Ready to do big things and have the drive and passion to learn more.
• Be a curious person who can’t help but to nerd out on anything from the latest code frameworks.
• Possess an optimistic & ambitious mindset.
