Software Engineer Intern (Global CRM) - 2027 Summer

About the role

We are looking for interns to help build and maintain a Global CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Platform and Transaction Platform for sales and marketing agents/partners. You will work closely with the Sales Operations Management Platform (SOMP) to create a stable, flexible, and smart platform that enhances commercial efficiency and customer satisfaction through intelligent marketing tools. The role involves ensuring the stability and security of customer fund transactions and balancing revenue, risks, efficiency, and client experience for TikTok’s monetization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications related to TikTok's monetization capital business, including advertising billing, fund account management, fund marketing, fund settlement, and budget control.
• Contribute to resolving stability challenges such as high concurrency, system scalability, and disaster recovery.
• Continuously optimize the system to support rapid business evolution and development.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong coding and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with common components such as MySQL, Redis, Flink, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and RPC.
• Hands-on experience in software development, particularly with Java.
• Strong communication skills, business sensitivity, and the ability to quickly understand business contexts while integrating technology and business needs.
• Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time internship during Summer 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data components including Spark, OLAP engines, and Flink is a plus.

Pay

The hourly rate range for this internship position is $45–$60.
