Software Engineer Intern

MeeBoss is sharing this active opportunity on behalf of ClassHour, a company that bridges the gap between student drive and cutting-edge expertise by combining pedagogical heritage with AI innovation to create immersive, project-based learning programs. This is a 12-16 week remote or hybrid internship for entry-level candidates or graduates.

As a Software Engineering Intern, your code will go into production and be used by real users. You’ll receive 1:1 weekly mentorship with a dedicated senior engineer and gain exposure to modern CI/CD, edge computing, and AI-augmented development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of features, designing, building, and deploying from database schema to user interface.
• Build and refine AI-driven features, including intelligent agents, semantic search, and automated data processing.
• Iterate quickly on product feedback to optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a solid understanding of modern web fundamentals.
• Prior experience building projects with React and basic familiarity with server-side rendering (e.g., Next.js).
• Strong proficiency in Java and C++.
• Understanding of Data Structures, Version Control, Agile Methodologies, Debugging, and Software Testing.
• A portfolio of side projects, hackathon builds, or open-source contributions demonstrating a passion for shipping code.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$20,000–60,000/year
