About the role
Join Opal Security to architect and scale critical infrastructure for AI-native security. You will own the platform's stability across Kubernetes, Golang, and Terraform, supporting both cloud and self-hosted environments. Responsibilities
- Design and scale critical infrastructure using Kubernetes, Golang, and Terraform across AWS, GCP, and self-hosted customer environments.
- Architect systems that ensure platform stability, security, and speed, enabling product engineers to ship features with high confidence.
- Consult directly with security and engineering teams at Fortune 500 startups to understand and solve their complex IAM challenges.
Requirements
- Strong background in infrastructure engineering with deep expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, and managing distributed systems at scale.
- Experienced in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and proficient in managing cloud-native databases like Postgres and Redis.
- Proactive problem-solver who enjoys working across the stack and collaborating with both internal teams and external enterprise customers.
