Build, maintain, and enhance a proprietary clinical data analytics repository. This role reports to our Harrisburg, PA headquarters and may work remotely from any state or metro area permitted by corporate policy.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and oversee projects using project management processes to ensure deadlines and budgeted costs are met.
- Coordinate with customers and IT teams to analyze and research business problems, assessing their impact on existing systems and feasibility of automation.
- Conform with PMO guidelines and procedures when developing IT solutions using structured methodologies.
- Conduct meetings with customers to define and satisfy requirements.
- Design innovative solutions using emerging and existing technologies, evaluating feasibility and practicality within current or future environments, including supporting processes.
- Prepare test data and conduct program and system tests to ensure compliance.
- Assist customers in establishing acceptance criteria and evaluating the effectiveness of proposed solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of the department’s programming languages, tools, coding and design techniques, database management systems, and processing platforms through continued education and training.
- Analyze functional and technical aspects of existing systems to identify areas for improvement, cost savings, and enhanced quality and service.
- Develop and maintain programs, systems, and related elements (scripts, stored procedures, documentation, maintenance schedules, etc.).
- Lead or participate in the evaluation and selection of vendor software, integrating it with existing systems.
- Act as a focal point for problem resolution and customer inquiries.
- Analyze and research new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Multitask and adapt to changing customer priorities.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
- Communicate effectively through presentations, documentation, and all forms of communication.
- Provide off-hours assistance to support customers and IT initiatives as needed.
- May undergo background checks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience.
- 2 years of experience in the following skills:
- Data analytics and analysis/design concepts.
- Database management technologies, data modeling practices, and database platforms.
- Programming languages, testing, and productivity tools.
- Interpreting and applying customer business practices, procedures, and concepts.
- Project management techniques.
- Server technologies and platforms.
- Healthcare standards and parsing complex clinical data formats.
- Data analytics platforms providing insights into healthcare data (including claims and clinical).
- Clinical data formats (organizing, mapping, and presenting insights and opportunities).
- HL7 and FHIR standards.
- Clinical data formats (CCD, ADT, Labs).
- C#, Node.js, Python, SQL, Informatica, and REST API.
Pay
Annual wage range: $77,106 to $119,390.
