Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain back-end and full-stack software solutions.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
- Implement object-oriented designs and scalable application architectures.
- Integrate APIs, microservices, and databases while optimizing performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and conduct code reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and support continuous improvement of development processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical work.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in software development and programming with modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).
- Hands-on experience in back-end web development, including APIs, microservices, databases, and performance optimization.
- Applied expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality code with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills, collaborative mindset, and experience working in hybrid or distributed teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Prior experience in an engineering-focused organization or supporting engineering products and services is beneficial.
