We're looking for an expert full-stack Software Engineer to help manage the development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of highly secure solutions optimized for performance and built to scale.

About the role

Develop high-quality, maintainable, and high-performance software components (services, classes, database components, etc.). Partner with business and multi-functional technical teams to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient applications built on AWS architecture. Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions, code reviews, and defining software development best practices. Help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, .NET, and AWS applications
  • Collaborate with UX/UI engineers and multiple development teams
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and build tools
  • Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform
  • Educate business and technology partners on AWS value propositions and participate in deep architectural discussions
  • Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to other team members and IT teams
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge with solutions architects
  • Author or contribute to AWS documentation for supporting solutions and applications
  • Build deep relationships with cross-functional teams to enable cloud advocacy
  • Act as a technical liaison between business partners, IT teams, and the digital engineering group
  • Be self-sufficient and comfortable working with a reasonable amount of ambiguity

Requirements

Education

Must meet one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field of study or equivalent work experience (two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one year of college)
  • International Degree equivalency
  • Applicable certification(s) as defined by the leader + 2 years additional experience
  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field of study + 2 years additional experience

Experience

  • 2–6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a similar role, including 2–3+ years in:
    • AWS ETL and Pipelines
    • Solid TypeScript, .NET, Node.js
    • Agile development team experience (e.g., reviewing code, setting dev standards)
    • Design and implementation in software applications
    • Specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, systems engineering)
    • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of development experience
  • Familiarity with React ecosystem and best practices, architect mindset
  • Experience in Single Page Application architecture
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, Information Assurance, Virtual Desktop, etc.), products (e.g., SQL), and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD)
  • 2+ years of experience working with REST, SOAP APIs
  • Strong communication skills across internal and external organizations
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Pay

As of the date of this posting, the pay range is $94,183 to $144,275 (Level II) or $118,505 to $177,758 (Level III). The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus, variable depending on company and employee performance. Compensation decisions depend on factors including competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, travel requirements, internal equity, and business needs.

Schedule

Flexible hybrid work environment based in Meridian, Idaho. This position allows a combination of onsite work at the Meridian, Idaho campus and remote work from home within Idaho.
