Responsibilities
- Participate in collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams using agile system and software development operations to plan, specify, design, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
- Innovate creative implementations of new products and technologies, from architecture and design through integration, lab test, and field test.
- Collaborate effectively with other disciplines and senior technical staff to produce planning and technical work products for internal customers, forming original solutions to complex problems.
- Develop software requirements and FPGA-level interface requirements derived from system-level requirements, including associated architectures, simulations, analysis, and laboratory testing.
- Work with embedded microprocessor design, system-on-a-chip software design, FPGAs, high-speed transceivers, DDR, flash memories, and perform signal analyses, signal generation, and signal processing.
Requirements
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience in software design, integration, and test utilizing C/C++.
- Experience in software engineering related to firmware/product development or similar.
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance (DoD Secret).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current transferable DoD Secret security clearance.
- Experience with embedded microprocessor design, system-on-a-chip software design, FPGAs, high-speed transceivers, DDR, flash memories, block diagrams, signal analyses, signal generation, and signal processing.
- Experience developing real-time applications on embedded platforms (bare metal, embedded Linux, Windows).
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EA/ES), Radar, or Secure Communications technologies.
- Experience with .NET C# using WPF and MVVM.
- Familiarity with tools: Visual Studio, Vitis, TortoiseSVN, Jenkins, Jira, Collaborator.
- Lab experience in product testing using logic analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and system-on-chip debugging tools.
- Experience with interfaces and bus standards such as VME, PCI, PCIe, VPX, or Gb Ethernet.
- Experience across all phases of the software lifecycle, from architecture to system integration and post-delivery maintenance.
- Experience with software algorithm development and machine learning.
- Experience in Agile development processes.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $75,800 – $144,200 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels and considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
