What You’ll Be Doing

  • Platform Support: Work alongside senior engineers and the Platform Architect to maintain and improve our current WMS, keeping operations running smoothly day to day
  • Migration Contribution: Play an active role in migrating legacy functionality (Google Apps Script/Sheets) into a modern backend architecture using Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL
  • Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations that support real-time inventory and order fulfillment
  • System Reliability: Assist with logging, monitoring, and observability improvements to help the platform perform reliably during high-volume peaks
  • Team Collaboration: Work with nearshore developers to deliver features, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to a culture of quality and accountability
  • Documentation: Document code, APIs, and technical workflows to support knowledge sharing and reduce operational risk across the team

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years building full-stack systems in production environments (GCP familiarity a plus)
  • The Tech Stack: Solid hands-on experience with Node.js / TypeScript and PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, and query optimization)
  • Modern Frontend: Ability to build and maintain responsive web UIs with React across various devices
  • Migration Exposure: Some experience contributing to legacy system refactoring, modernization, or migration efforts in a production codebase
  • Data Familiarity: Exposure to cloud environments and modern data tools like BigQuery or Snowflake is a bonus
  • Problem Solver: A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset — comfortable working through loosely defined requirements and asking the right questions to get unblocked

Compensation

$120,000–$145,000 DOE
