Senior Software Engineer, Backend (TypeScript / Node.js APIs)

About the role

You’ll spend your time crafting powerful APIs, fine-tuning high-volume data pipelines, and building seamless integrations to connect the educational data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Craft powerful APIs
• Fine-tune high-volume data pipelines
• Build seamless integrations
• Architect a highly scalable backend
• Guide new clients integrate with the Edlink API
• Speak to the technical capability of the product

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience scaling APIs
• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, Postgres, and Kubernetes
• Strong background in Object-Oriented Design and KISS principles
• Ability to hold oneself accountable for producing good work
• Willingness to move to Austin or work in an office
