Software Engineer II - Full Stack (Remote Eligible)

About the role

This position leads work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology growth.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable back-end services for new applications using Kotlin and Java
• Address challenging distributed systems issues within cloud infrastructure
• Engage in code reviews and architectural discussions with the team
• Mentor junior engineers in code quality and best practices
• Collaborate closely with product management and other business areas
• Utilize AI tools to enhance team efficiency and coach others on their use

Requirements

• 2+ years in software development with experience in scalable applications
• 2+ years with full-stack technologies like Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript
• 2+ years with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience in developing and supporting REST APIs
• At least 6 months using AI tools to enhance productivity
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Pay

$125,000 – $175,000 annually
