Software Engineer II, Back-end (Card Mgmt & Transaction Processing)

Responsibilities

• Break down larger projects into tasks and ensure timely delivery through collaboration
• Support product development by participating in ideation and articulating technical constraints
• Create and monitor metrics for operational support and availability of team artifacts
• Engage in team development activities, including participation in the interview process
• Contribute to system reliability by supporting on-call efforts and addressing issues as they arise

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficient in designing, developing, and launching backend systems using Python or Kotlin
• Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
• Experience in transforming business scenarios into clear, well-tested, and extendable code solutions
• Experience in debugging large code bases and conducting code reviews
• Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and seeking constructive feedback
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
