Software Engineer II, Annapurna Labs ML Acceleration Systems Software
About the role
The Machine Learning Server Software Team at Annapurna Labs is seeking candidates with a passion for developing data-driven software for our advanced machine learning acceleration servers. Our team works closely with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and rapid deployment of software.
Responsibilities
- Develop software (C, C++, Python, Lua) for server components and integration into EC2.
- Collaborate with the Hardware, Test, and Manufacturing teams to create a coordinated software package for qualification and rapid deployment.
- Build systems software to initialize custom accelerator chips and monitor peripherals using device drivers for various interfaces (I2C, SPI, PCIe).
- Focus on data paths, PCIe, SPI, and accelerator inner workings to support the execution and acceleration of machine learning algorithms.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Skills
While not required, experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, is preferred.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually.
