Key job responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and operate AWS Analytics services that enable customers to optimize their data.
  • Support services running in air gapped regions that are isolated from the public internet, creating unique engineering challenges and opportunities for innovation.
  • Dive deep to resolve operational challenges, innovate to automate operational tasks, build open source solutions for our customers, and support execution of various security campaigns (blocked software, host patching) and parity programs.
  • Work cross functionally to foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues.
  • Build tools in Java or solve complex system problems in Python.
  • Build and deploy solutions across thousands of devices; improve and streamline processes to allow for work on a massive scale.

Basic qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

Preferred qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

As an ADC Software Development Engineer in Analytics, you will build innovative solutions, expand services into ADC regions, and improve our operations to provide resiliency and the best experience for our customers. You influence technical strategy and architectural decisions within the team and with partner teams and make data-driven decisions. You bring in best practices in operational and engineering excellence by actively contributing to ticket resolution, infrastructure improvements, and service deployments. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Pay

Base salary range: $143,700.00 – $194,400.00 USD annually (USA, CO, Denver). Your package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
