Software Engineer I (On-Site)
About the role
We are looking for talented early-career software professionals to help create advanced solutions in areas such as Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning, and Electronic Attack for defense-related customers. Our products provide critical mission capabilities to address evolving threats to national security and warfighters. You will work alongside highly motivated engineers passionate about software and protecting military service personnel.

Positions are available in Southern New Hampshire, including Nashua, Hudson, Merrimack, and Manchester.
This position requires full-time onsite work at a BAE Systems facility due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, code, and modify complex software (typically in C++) for simple systems or subsystems of larger systems.
- Assist in evaluating complex software designs to identify flaws.
- Develop software in Windows or Linux-based environments, targeting embedded systems ranging from ARM to high-performance x86-64 CPUs and GPUs.
- Integrate and test software in selected target environments.
- Occasional travel may be required to support integration and test events.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance (within the last two years).
- Experience with embedded development.
- Experience with Object-Oriented design, development practices, and implementation in C++.
- Experience with source code control tools.
- Willingness to perform a variety of related tasks.
- U.S. citizenship (required by government contract).
Preferred Skills
- Real-time embedded development experience.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Experience with GIT, Jira, and Confluence.
- Agile development experience.
- Experience designing and/or implementing software algorithms.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $64,926 – $110,374. Individual salaries are determined by factors such as skills, education, experience, business considerations, and local market conditions.
