About the role
Designing, modeling, developing and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS).
Responsibilities
- Exhibits enthusiasm for complete, consistent, on-time, and accurate data conversion.
- Acquires and converts data using a variety of tools and methods, including the use of ICE proprietary tools.
- Analyzes data, performs quality assurance on converted data, and provides solutions to resolve known exceptions with the data.
- Configures, observes, and troubleshoots various automated data conversion processes.
- Verifies data conversion results, creates, modifies, and executes SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures.
- Performs routine and custom data maintenance tasks for existing customer base.
- Configures web-based applications to display data for customer consumption.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Three (3) years of work experience in SQL.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Experience in orchestrating the coordination of data-related activities to ensure on-time delivery of data solutions to support business capability requirements, including data activity planning, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and design negotiation.
- Ability to design effective management of reference data.
- Experience in SQL or PL/SQL (or comparable language).
