Software Engineer - Fullstack (Frontend Leaning)

About the role

At Artemis, we're building the open data platform for digital finance. We organize and standardize the metrics that matter for blockchains, tokens, and stablecoins, providing a 'Bloomberg-like' Terminal trusted by major players like Visa, Circle, Tether, and others.

Responsibilities

• Help Artemis grow: Scale the company, manage a strong customer base, and expand the user base.
• Own and build a better terminal: Refine and enhance the Artemis Terminal, a key product loved by both crypto enthusiasts and institutional clients.
• Redefine Crypto UI/UX: Innovate the user experience for interacting with crypto data, focusing on both usability and onboarding new users.
• Move more onchain: Integrate with leading on-chain platforms to bridge our terminal product with on-chain native primitives.
• Talk to customers: Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and shape product development.
• Work with partners: Collaborate with crypto protocols and foundations to embed Artemis solutions deeply into their workflows.
• Build the team: Contribute to shaping the company culture and workplace environment.

Requirements

• A primary focus on frontend development.
• Experience shipping and iterating on real-world applications.
• A self-starter with a strong desire to impact the project positively.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-context environment, exercising judgment and moving ideas from concept to production.
• Willingness to work in-person in NYC, with a preference for hybrid roles.
• Experience building dashboards or visualization tools is a plus.
• Prior experience with on-chain data and development is a plus.

Qualifications

• No formal experience in crypto, traditional finance, fintech, or investment banking is required.
• Passionate about building the future of finance.
• Highly motivated and driven by a mindset similar to Ernest Shackleton's.

Skills

• Frontend development using React/TypeScript and NextJS.
• Backend development using Django Python and Heroku.

Benefits

• Compensation range: $150K - $250K.
