Software Engineer, Frontend

Who We're Looking For

• 3+ years of software development experience, with an emphasis on modern frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/TypeScript/React) and building delightful user interfaces.
• Extensive experience developing large-scale application software.
• Motivated by solving hard problems, and measure your success in terms of impact doing so.
• Experience and interest in contributing to services around OAuth, WebAuthN, Identity Providers, Identity and Access Management.
• Familiarity with backend development using Node.js, Java, Go, or similar technologies.
• A strong understanding of, and practical experience with, web application development.
• A sincere commitment to crafting readable and dependable code.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Cash Compensation Range

Cash Compensation Range: $110,500 - $178,250 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors. In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure in addition to base salary.
