About the role

As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, delivering value to our customers. Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will implement identified components, ensuring they are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using design documentation and functional programming specifications.
  • Ensure implemented components are documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration.
  • Architect solutions, test code, deploy, and build CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide work estimates for assigned development tasks.
  • Guide features, functional objectives, or technologies for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
  • Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, .Net, etc.) with debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and scalable, robust software development.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
  • Knowledge of architecture design, including microservices architecture, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
  • Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certification in one or more hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) is preferred; otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.

Pay

The compensation range for this position in the U.S. is $115,080 to $218,520 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part-time roles, compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

  • California (All Other): $126,600 to $240,480
  • Colorado: $115,080 to $218,520
  • Massachusetts: $115,080 to $240,480
  • New York City: $138,120 to $262,320
  • Washington: $126,600 to $240,480
  • Washington DC: $126,600 to $240,480

The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.
