Software Engineer - Developer 4 (contract)

About the role

The successful candidate will support the B-1b/B-52 Software team at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is a contract assignment with Boeing, employing the contractor through a Boeing-approved third-party for the duration of the specified project.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software system and subsystem engineering models using Jira throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
• Translate customer requirements and technical specifications into actionable plans for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with a diverse engineering team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software for monitoring and testing systems.
• Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize system and subsystem components and functionalities for systems integration.
• Provide system and subsystem support to team members, resolving issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.

Requirements

• Ability to code in C and/or ADA.
• Embedded software design experience preferred.
• Experience with JIRA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Skills

• Strong coding skills in C and/or ADA.
• Experience with embedded software design.
• Proficiency with JIRA.

Pay

Pay Rate Range: 85 - 90 USD hourly
