About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data streaming platforms that process large volumes of data in real-time.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data streaming solutions using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience with data streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka, Flink, or Spark.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data streaming (e.g., Java, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
