Software Engineer, Cloud Bigtable SQL and Analytics

About the role

The Software Engineer for Cloud Bigtable SQL and Analytics at Google will focus on building the next generation of the Feature Store, which is a critical project for the company. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Experience in systems languages such as C++ or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems concepts including concurrency and consistency models.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content.
• Triage product or system issues and debug or track them.
