Software Engineer - BM/SRM

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform software design, development, testing, operational integration, debugging, documentation, and user support.
• Analyze and resolve complex systems software issues.
• Develop or modify operating-system applications from specifications.
• Affix with design, coding, benchmark testing, and debugging.
• Cook up coordination with system support groups to resolve problems and improve efficiency.
• Design, code, test, and implement operations-automation tools.
• Work across most phases of software systems programming.

Required Technical Skills

• Active Secret clearance required at start. Clearance must be verifiable in DISS.
• Knowledge of coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines, and configuration.
• Strong Java/J2EE, C++/object-oriented, or similar language experience.
• Enterprise application development on Linux; Windows desired.
• Strong problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus, and Eclipse.
• Agile development methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a rapid-paced team environment and accept unanticipated tasking.
