Software Engineer

About the role

This position offers an opportunity to enhance technical skills by working on impactful projects in a collaborative environment. You will be involved in building AI web interfaces, developing Python geoprocessing tools, and creating GIS solutions, gaining exposure to the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable client and server components for data visualization and exploration using graphics and database APIs
• Collaborate on design and implementation with team members and other departments
• Develop frameworks and APIs for internal and external developers
• Contribute to testing to ensure quality
• Work with product engineers to innovate visualization techniques for spatial data

Qualifications & Skills

• Two years of experience in a related role or relevant field
• Proficiency in C++, SQL, statistical computing, and relational databases
• Master’s degree or equivalent in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related discipline
