Software Engineer

Functional Responsibility

• Design and develop electronic warfare receiver models
• Containerize solutions
• Enhance DevOps pipelines
• Perform code reviews
• Automate existing capabilities to validate signals
• Introduce AI/ML learning techniques to discover new radar modes of operation
• Develop signal models in Java/Spring Boot
• Test and validate receiver models
• Generate requisite documentation describing functionality and usage
• Participate in team code reviews
• Develop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and operational deployment scripts to support rapid capability integration

Requirements

• Design and develop mission-critical software and electronic warfare models
• Manage high-impact projects to enable operational readiness and capability advancement
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Have 5+ years of recent system/software engineering experience with a strong understanding of software design
• Possess and maintain required skills such as data mining techniques, Java development, software testing, knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW), databases, data serialization techniques, virtualization/containerization (VMware and Docker), CI/CD pipeline methodologies, documenting code, experience in working on large software platforms and systems of systems, code optimization techniques, and perform in a DevOps environment
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Spring Boot, Postgres DB, and familiarity with DoD, Air Force, and national-level cyber policies, procedures, and security protocols for handling classified materials
• Familiarity with DoD networks
• Strong coding proficiency in supported languages and secure software development frameworks
• Advanced project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk assessment for complex, multi-agency projects
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of preparing and presenting technical reports, briefings, and decision papers for senior leadership
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, foresee technological impacts, and tailor tools and practices to specific mission sets

Qualifications

Minimum/General Experience: Candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must have 5+ years of recent system/software engineering experience with a strong understanding of software design.
