About the role

The Software Engineer - AI/ML collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and maintain software solutions using diverse programming languages and technologies. This role involves developing new features, resolving complex technical issues, maintaining high-quality code, and supporting CI/CD processes to ensure stability, efficiency, and security. You will also create technical documentation, adapt to dynamic environments, and work independently or collaboratively to drive software development and integration efforts. This position requires hybrid on-site work at the Somerset, NJ or Austin, TX location.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain software solutions using diverse programming languages and technologies.
• Design, develop, and implement new software features or modifications based on functional requirements.
• Identify and address complex technical issues through problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Maintain high-quality code through rigorous code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure stability, efficiency, security, and quality of shipped code.
• Support runtime platform maintenance, integration of new features, and release fixes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience writing high-performance, thread-safe code for sub-millisecond request handling.
• 5+ years of experience debugging difficult live site problems and building automation for high-scale distributed systems.
• 5+ years of experience developing applications in Azure or AWS.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced AWS or Azure Certification preferred.
• Ability to travel 10%.

Pay

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000, which includes a base salary. Compensation varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
