Responsibilities
- Working with Product to translate product requirements into discrete, testable tasks
- Understanding all ongoing work across teams well enough to intelligently take part in code reviews per day
- Developing code and completing tasks in tandem with AI tools
- Consistently asking questions and critically looking at all our processes with fresh eyes
- Being an advocate for quality by calling out unclear or unsound code and tests
- Collaboratively building and improving shared tools and processes for the wider team
- Occasionally investigating issues in Production systems or data in response to internal or customer questions
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant and related work experience
- This position is subject to company on call policies which constitutes working hours outside of the normal workday as needed
- Professional experience with functional programming (Elixir, Erlang, Scala, F#, etc..) or modern statically typed languages (Rust, Go, Zig, etc..) developing web applications
- Experience with PostgreSQL profiling and optimization in production environments
- Comfortable working in a Full-Stack environment where work may involve CSS/JS, Backend Code, and occasional DevOps & Monitoring tasks
- Familiarity with self-directed Agentic Development
Preferred Qualifications
- Elixir / Phoenix LiveView experience
- Familiarity with A11Y standards and tooling
- Knowledge of Budgeting and Accounting terminology and principals
