About the Company
PayPal has been revolutionizing commerce globally for more than 25 years, creating innovative experiences that make moving money, selling, and shopping simple, personalized, and secure. We empower consumers and businesses in approximately 200 markets to join and thrive in the global economy. Operating a global, two-sided network at scale, PayPal connects hundreds of millions of merchants and consumers, facilitating payments whether online or in person.
We provide proprietary payment solutions accepted by merchants, enabling payments on our platform. Customers can purchase and receive payments using various funding sources, including bank accounts, PayPal or Venmo account balances, credit products, credit/debit cards, cryptocurrencies, gift cards, and eligible credit card rewards. Our PayPal, Venmo, and Xoom products simplify fund transfers between friends and family.
For merchants, we offer an end-to-end payments solution with authorization and settlement capabilities, instant access to funds, and payouts. We also help merchants connect with customers, process exchanges and returns, manage risk, and expand globally while reducing cross-border trade complexity.
Our core values—Inclusion, Innovation, Collaboration, and Wellness—guide our daily work, ensuring we operate as one global team with customers at the center. These values also drive us to care for ourselves, each other, and our communities.
