Responsibilities
- Develop software and create system integrations to enhance member and staff experiences.
- Create, maintain, and develop tooling for efficient system updates.
- Maintain and develop software development lifecycle framework and internal training materials.
- Ensure software meets usability, quality, security, scalability, extensibility, and sustainability requirements.
- Create and support custom-built applications and integrations.
- Participate in project teams to develop software solutions using internal and cloud-based systems.
- Work with Business Analysts to create high-level product specifications.
- Design and develop common components, services, and frameworks for the Development Team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional application teams to develop proof of concepts and solutions.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain production applications.
- Partner with the Software Engineering Manager and CIO to develop product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with product owners and project management team to prioritize work.
- Create and execute an iterative and continuous plan to deliver working software.
- Utilize best practices, methodologies, and coding standards to provide maximum value.
- Provide insight and expertise in standards, architectural governance, and design patterns.
- Maintain a software architecture that supports both immediate and long-term needs.
Requirements
- Two to five years of relevant experience, including .NET Development (C#, .Net Core), TypeScript/JavaScript Development, JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies in Azure DevOps/GitHub, Python development (Jinja templating, Flask, Django), message brokers like Apache Kafka/RabbitMQ, databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, and deployment/container orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Working knowledge of AI coding agents like Claude Code to improve development efficiency.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to relevant experience.
