Software Engineer

Job Summary Our client, a leading aviation company, is seeking a Software Engineer to join a collaborative development team supporting enterprise application modernization and system integration initiatives. This is a 6 to 18-month contract position requiring a hybrid work schedule, with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. In this role, you will develop modern web applications, build APIs, and integrate multiple enterprise systems while working closely with product, engineering, and technical leadership in an Agile environment. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain modern web applications using AngularBuild and enhance RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python, and C# to support enterprise system integrationsDevelop scalable front-end solutions that integrate with multiple internal and external applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software solutionsParticipate in system integration efforts, ensuring seamless communication between enterprise platforms and servicesWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established development standards and best practicesTroubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutionsParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on software quality, development processes, and technical standardsWork with a diverse technology stack and adapt to evolving business and technical requirementsApply AI-enabled development tools and modern engineering practices where appropriate to improve productivity and solution qualityRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 3+ years of professional software development experienceStrong experience developing front-end applications using AngularHands-on experience developing APIs using Node.js, Python, and C#Experience with enterprise application and system integrationsSolid understanding of REST APIs, web services, and modern software development practicesExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments Key Competencies & Behaviors Collaborative Problem SolvingTechnical ExcellenceAdaptability & Continuous LearningWork Environment Location: Phoenix, AZHybridCompensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $55.00.
