Software Engineer

About the role

The Software Engineer will contribute to the evolutionary development of advanced analytics and decision support software across all aspects of the development life cycle, working closely with product development engineers and business domain experts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for APIs, SPAs, and mobile applications.
• Utilize tracking tools such as Jira, QC/Quality Center, TeamTrack, or similar.
• Apply different testing methodologies (e.g., V model, Waterfall, Agile).
• Perform test management and bug tracking.
• Conduct mobile testing on iOS and Android platforms.
• Implement performance and automation testing.
• Write and maintain code using programming languages (e.g., Java, Microsoft platform) and database skills (SQL, ETL, Business Intelligence).
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in a related field.
• Extensive experience in the required skills and technologies.
• Relevant certifications (desirable but not mandatory).

Skills

• CI/CD pipelines for API/SPAs/mobile apps.
• Testing tools such as QTP, Selenium, Test Complete, Unit, JMock, JSUnit, Fitnesse, or equivalent.
• Test management and bug tracking tools.
• Mobile testing (iOS and Android).
• Performance and automation testing.
• Programming (Java, Microsoft platform) and database skills (SQL, ETL, Business Intelligence).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
