Software Engineer

About the role

Contribute directly to the customer experience with the Amazon supply chain
Reduce fulfillment cost and maximize free cash flow across worldwide marketplaces
Solve complex problems in inventory placement
Design and implement large-scale cloud-based distributed services
Work with Senior and Principal Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers to design a new platform for optimizing supply chain management
Automate third-party supply management systems and drive inventory across Amazon marketplaces

Responsibilities

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Able to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to non-technical audiences
• Experience with object-oriented design concepts and common design patterns
