Software Engineer

What You’ll Be Owning

GRVTY is seeking a Software Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA.

What You Must Have

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• Experience in Systems Administration
• Experience analyzing browser network traffic to understand client/server communications and requests
• Experience integrating cloud services including Lambda functions and layers, S3, Batch, EC2, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, IAM roles, DynamoDB, and container services
• Demonstrated experience leveraging a background in programming, software tools and packages, operating systems, and networking to solve collection needs
• Deep experience in software development
• Ability to gather mission needs and transform to technical requirements for Sponsor consideration
• Demonstrated experience documenting and communicating technical and non-technical mission requirements for all audiences
• Demonstrated experience working with other technical teams across multiple organizational boundaries
• Demonstrated experience with Python
• Ability to program efficiently (back-end, not UI) in at least one other programming language (NOT Python or JavaScript)
• Demonstrated experience installing Linux from scratch and developing complex Unix shell scripts
• Demonstrated experience using AWS Cloud Development Kits (CDK) — CloudFormation, Terraform or similar are NOT substitutes for CDK experience
• Demonstrated experience transforming data in various file formats into common formats, such as JSON, CSV, or XML
• Experience analyzing unknown software code and extracting relevant fields to determine and mimic its behavior
• Ability to develop a software system testing harness or implement a continuous testing methodology on a project

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Demonstrated experience with tools, such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, JADX, or APKtool
• Demonstrated experience with multiple cloud providers
• Demonstrated experience with other programming languages besides Python

Pay

Virginia Pay Range $150,000—$250,000 USD
