About the role
Corvid's Missile Defense Products group is adding experienced Software Engineers to support the development of Fire Control software for weapons systems. The role will focus on developing (and testing) algorithms and capabilities that can be integrated into existing architecture that evaluates and manages the situational awareness for Missile Defense Systems.
Responsibilities
- Extensive development efforts in a variety of languages including C++, Java and/or Ada
- Develop, present and execute complex work requirements related to software
- Support DevSecOps to ensure robust, secure and stable software is deployed into the system
Requirements
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and be eligible to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in related STEM discipline and at least 5 years of relevant development experience (Advanced Degrees may substitute for experience)
- Demonstrated experience developing one or more of the following: C++, Ada, and Java
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Linux, scripting, and/or operations
- Experience with MATLAB and Python for development and analysis
- Advanced degree in Physics or Math (or strong foundation in either)
- Experience with DevSecOps tools and methods (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Gitlab) of continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation
Skills
- Strong programming skills in C++, Java, and/or Ada
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools
- Knowledge of Linux and scripting
- Experience with MATLAB and Python
