We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer with experience in Java Spring Boot SQL REST APIs and data processing. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience building enterprise applications supporting data migration and validation activities developing backend services and working with cross functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal and external applications.
- Develop SQL based data extraction, validation, and transformation workflows.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Assist in improving application reliability through automation and proactive monitoring.
- Implement CRUD operations and service integrations.
Requirements
- Java 17+ – 1–3 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Spring Boot – 1–3 years of experience developing backend services, APIs, or microservices.
- SQL – 1–3 years of experience with queries, CRUD operations, data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- RESTful APIs – 1–3 years of experience developing and integrating backend APIs and services.
- Data Processing/Migration – 1–3 years of experience or hands-on exposure to data migration, validation, and transformation activities.
- HS Diploma / GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Python 3.10+ – 1+ year of experience or hands-on exposure to scripting, automation, or data processing.
- Shell Scripting – 1+ year of experience or practical exposure to scripting and automation.
- CI/CD Pipelines – 1+ year of experience or working knowledge of automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Application Monitoring & Automation – 1+ year of experience or exposure to improving application reliability and operational support.

Schedule
This is a hybrid role in Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC and will require three days per week at the client site.
