What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with architects and business partners to define Agile stories for new capabilities.
- Conduct thorough design and code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Provide essential technical direction and support to your team members.
- Engage in hands-on coding, unit testing, and production issue resolution.
- Lead the design and implementation of new features and bug fixes.
- Actively participate in product roadmap discussions and long-term strategic planning.
- Develop innovative tools and practices to enhance team efficiency.
- Mentor junior staff, guiding them in their professional development and career goals.
- Foster strong partnerships with fellow developers, product owners, technical leads, and architects.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of comprehensive full stack application development experience, including a proven track record of mentoring and assisting junior team developers.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing web-enabled applications using:
- Front End Technologies/Concepts: ASP.NET, Angular and/or AngularJS, JSON/XML, Sync/ASync services.
- Back End Technologies/Concepts: .NET, .NET core, C#, RESTful API design, Micro-Services, and Event-driven architecture and frameworks.
- Database Technologies/Concepts: Relational databases (SQL/Oracle).
- Environment: Distributed Monolithic and Cloud Based Micro-services (Private Cloud/Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
- A strong passion for enterprise-level agile development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of web application environments and development tools, event-driven application development, session state management, web configuration and deployment strategies, security and performance tuning, and debugging methodologies.
- Comfortable with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts, unit testing principles and implementations, API test automation techniques, and automated deployment pipeline tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently.
- A passion for problem-solving, the ability to quickly learn new concepts, and the capacity to interact effectively with all levels of technical and business teams.
- Proven ability to work independently while serving in a leadership role within a team.
- A collaborative team player, self-motivated, and capable of working across organizations and geographic locations.
- BS or higher in computer science or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, and Bamboo, is strongly preferred.
Pay & Schedule
- This is an onsite role in Austin or Southlake, TX.
- Pay Range: $62/hr – $69/hr
