Software Engineer 5 - Open Connect Control Plane

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and resilient cloud services for the company’s streaming capabilities
• Build tools and systems for operational excellence in real-time complex environments
• Design algorithms to optimize content delivery across the network
• Implement models for effective resource utilization and cost efficiency
• Create solutions that automate content deployment to servers in the CDN

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in Java
• Proven ability to build and operate critical real-time systems at scale
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems (e.g., Casandra, Kafka)
• Proficiency in querying and analyzing large data lakes using Python and SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools and methodologies
