About the role

Join a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive distributed Metrics and Monitoring solution for HPC systems to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of HPC infrastructure.

Requirements

Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph. U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Skills

Required

  • Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
  • Developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes.
  • Recent software development experience using Rust and Python.
  • Experience using Splunk for data collection, message brokers, data storage, and presentation tools.
  • Experience interfacing with Log Management tools including Syslog-ng and rsyslog.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools including Ansible.
  • Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI.
  • Experience with Git Source Control System.

Desired

  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience with Elasticsearch.

Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $130,000 – $270,000 (depends on years of experience).
  • Up to 20% 401k contribution (no matching required and vested from day 1).
