Software Engineer 2 (IFS - 004)

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics, and cutting-edge information technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop in a Linux operating environment
• Work with Python, Java, and Scala
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
• Build, monitor, and develop Machine Learning models (e.g., Random Forest, feature development)
• Use Lucene, JEXL, SQL, JSON, and Map/Reduce
• Utilize Jupyter Notebooks, IntelliJ, and/or Eclipse
• Work with Git/GitLab, Stash/Bitbucket, and Scikit-learn
• Create, review, and maintain documentation
• Collaborate using Jira and Confluence

Qualifications

SWE-3 LCAT

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

SWE-2 LCAT

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
