About the role

Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions under the guidance of lead software engineers. As a mid-level engineer, you will contribute to complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications that meet business and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a small team to develop high-quality software solutions for web and mobile applications using technologies such as React JS and React Native
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Review and debug code
• Collaborate with internal team members to meet product deadlines
• Follow agile principles
• Work with modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, and Google Docs
• Solve complex problems requiring strong data analytic and troubleshooting skills
• Determine the best method for accomplishing projects and achieving objectives
• Lead key project feature development
• Perform additional projects or duties to support ongoing business needs
• Maintain and grow web and mobile applications, including updating APIs and creating new APIs as needed
• Create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of web and mobile applications

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in web application development
• 3+ years of experience in React Native or other cross-platform mobile app development frameworks
• BS in Computer Science or other Engineering degree (MS preferred)

• Proven experience with JavaScript, React Native, React JS, Node JS, Python, HTML, CSS
• Ability to take ownership, identify goals, and deliver on commitments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive mindset and can-do attitude
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and services
