Software Engineer 1 (Potential Telework) with Security Clearance

About the role

The role involves developing full stack solutions with large data sets, utilizing micro-services frameworks, and implementing local caching services. This position requires experience with various technologies including Python, Agile software environments, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Github, Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Developing full stack solutions with large data sets
• Utilizing micro-services frameworks
• Implementing local caching services
• Designing and implementing ETL processes
• Working with commercial cloud services, particularly AWS
• Contributing to a Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) IRA

Requirements

• Experience with Python and Agile software environments
• Experience with developing full stack solutions with large data sets
• Experience with micro-services frameworks
• Familiarity with design and implementation of local caching services
• Experience with ETL processes
• Knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with Github and Gitlab
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Desired technical skills: Knowledge of commercial cloud services, PostgreSQL/Nosql, Go, Rust, and/or C++, Lib development, Vue, MinIO, Clickhouse, Graphite

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Security Clearance: Required
