Software Development Manager, QuBIT Ripple

About the role

This role involves leading software solutions supporting applications for NACF and Beyond, including tools for Quality and Safety impacting thousands of operators and associates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer-facing experiences
• Provide technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Develop large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++
• Collaborate with customers to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Recruit, hire, mentor/coach, and manage teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service
• Work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 3+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• 5+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Qualifications

• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective
