About the role
Amazon’s Quantitative Business Intelligence Tools (QuBIT) team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Software Development Manager to lead software solutions supporting applications for NACF and Beyond. This includes, but not limited to tools supporting Quality, and Safety impacting thousands of operators and associates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage customer-facing experiences
- Provide technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle
- Develop large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++
- Collaborate closely with customers to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Recruit, hire, mentor/coach, and manage teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective
Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 3+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle
- 5+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
